Amazon Faves Share

by Courtney Schultz

Things currently making me happy:

1. Being reunited with my kids (and celebrating by playing hookie from school to go to the zoo and play all day)

2. Gorgeous Spring weather

3. That today is my Amazon share day!

I love Amazon (and let me assure you, Amazon loves me). I may have on more than one occasion opted for Prime over a trip to the store just because who can resist that free, fast shipping over schlepping all the kids to the store for one obscure purchase? Today in stories and on the blog I am sharing my top 5 (ok I cheated and included more than 5) amazon purchases. Some beauty, some style, some life hacks… lots of goods!

Item(s) number one (I am considering this item #1 even though it’s 5 items, but it’s my blog post and I make the rules, and this is officially the least amount of power that has ever gone to someone’s head, muahaha): former faves!

I consolidated some of my absolute best performing Amazon faves into one style picture. The maxi dress has been SUCH a huge hit, it cannot be emphasized enough that it is a favorite among all who try it. Super lightweight, packable, comfortable, bump-friendly, HAS POCKETS. What more could you want from a dress? The caftan coverup is also a winner, and at under $20, it’s super budget friendly. The black sunglasses look and feel like they’re worth much more than their $15 sticker price, and they’re a perfect bum-around pair of glasses you won’t have to worry too much about ruining. My watch band has been a huge hit and is a dead ringer for the much more expensive Hermés style sold by Apple. And finally, everyone needs a good Panama hat. I personally have been known to order this and have it shipped to my vacation destination via prime so that it’s waiting for me upon arrival. For under $20, it’s almost worth buying a new one each trip and not hassling with trying to travel with a soft hat!

Item #2: Makeup Eraser

I have always been a user of Neutrogena makeup remover wipes but A) I get sick of purchasing them and B) I never seem to have them when I need them, like on our recent trip to Florida. Also, in our ever-conscious world of reducing consumer waste, it feels a little silly using disposable cloths every single time I want to remove my makeup. Enter: the makeup eraser! Guys. This product is legit! It completely removes an entire day’s worth of makeup with just water. Doesn’t leave your face greasy with product, is machine washable and claims to last 3-5 YEARS! Talk about saving some serious money on makeup remover over time! At $20, this is a new staple to my makeup bag.

Item #3: Clear Zippered Bags (with a twist!)

OK, if you have known me for a while, you may know that I used to own a monogram company. I have since sold all of my monogramming machinery but my sister uses the occasional vinyl decal for HER business. She told me she was making these adorable shadow monograms for some Amazon zippered bags she had ordered and immediately I knew we had to feature them in today’s faves roundup! These bags come 6 to a pack for just $14, make the perfect travel bags for liquids, cosmetics, etc., and are a great organizer for your purse, pool bag or diaper bag. By adding one (or a few) of Maddie’s monograms you can totally elevate the look to something that looks WAY more expensive than these are, AND you can sort the bags by owner (I got decals with each of my kids’ initials on them so I can organize the bags by each child’s needs). Navy has claimed his as his snack pouch for school. Order decals here!

Item #4: 30 Ounce Stainless Tumbler

I wanted to throw at least one item in here that would appeal to my FASTer Way peeps, and this 30 ounce tumbler is it! Drinking water (regardless of what nutrition plan you abide by) is so important, and having a portable, insulated cup helps get the job done. What I like about this one is that it is identical (absolutely the exact same thing) to the YETI tumbler for a fraction of the price (this is $15, the YETI tumbler is over twice as expensive). Since the brand of my cup isn’t that important to me, I’ll take the $15 version (or maybe a couple of them so I can switch up the colors, etc). Three of these puppies a day gets me more than enough water and it fits in my cup holder of my car so I can carry it with me literally anywhere I go. (You could add a monogram to it to schnazz it up like me if you wanted, too!)

Item #5: Outdoor Pop-up Tent for babies

Summer is upon us and with children 1-3 constantly wanting to be outdoors playing, I need to make sure child 4 is protected and given a safe place to play, too. I scoured Amazon for something that was a portable, easy to use tent/play yard and this is by far the best one I found. It required zero setup effort, comes in a convenient travel bag, is lightweight and sets up in 3 seconds flat. It’s also nice and roomy (I can definitely picture some baby play dates happening inside this play yard this summer). The canopy can come on or off as needed and it has a quilted bottom, so we could even set it up in the driveway without her being on too hard a surface. Worth the price tag, this will get daily use all Summer long in our back yard (and on vacation, and at the lake, and at the pool….).

OK Guys that’s all I’ve got to share for today! Be sure to follow me on Instagram where I am currently teaming up with 5 blogger mamas to feature our favorite Amazon purchases all week long. At the end of the week, we will be giving away a $50 Amazon gift card, so check Instagram for details!
