When I started writing my book, I had no idea where this journey or this message would take me. The longer I continue to open up my hands to let God do the work and simply use me as the vessel, the more amazing opportunities emerge for this message to grow and develop.
It is so exciting (and at times unnerving) to let God steer the ship, but with each new development I am encouraged and excited to be bringing this message of With Heart to you all in so many tangible ways, and right now in the waiting period before the book launches, that looks like a curated collection of custom pieces. I can’t wait to start introducing you to the meaning and maker behind each one!
The first tangible way I am bringing the message to the world is through a VERY exciting collaboration with my sweet friend, Kaci Kersey, of Psfortysix. The same week of the necklace launch, Kaci and I chatted on her Within Her podcast (you can listen to that episode here) where we discussed health, relationships, faith, business and more.
Before she was a jewelry maker and podcaster, Kaci was a college athlete-turned-sports broadcaster. She left her career in sports broadcasting to follow God’s call into creating her handmade jewelry line, all focused on scripture and faith. I LOVE her bold faith in taking this risk; it completely aligns with similar bold moves I’ve made before where God was totally in it and ready to guide me through circumstances that were completely unknown, all I had to do was trust him. That’s where God does His best work; when we are completely surrendered to His plan and He can shine through even the unexpected parts of our story. That’s exactly what With Heart the book is all about, so aligning with artists who embrace and live out that vision and mission is the foundation for building this curated collection of pieces to bring to my readers and followers. Not to mention, I’m super excited to be getting back to my retail roots a little bit!
I’m predicting this necklace will be a permanent part of our ever growing collection, but given the handmade nature of the piece, availability will come and go, which is why if you’ve got your eye on a necklace and want to be a part of the initial launch, I encourage you to order while inventory is available!
